Everything is complete in this moment. Everything is perfection in this moment.
Your life evolves from,
Complete to Complete . . . Perfection to Perfection . . .
Not a never-ending cycle of,
Incomplete to complete . . . Imperfection to perfection . . .
In that state, like a mouse on a spinning wheel—you’ll never arrive.
You’ll always be waiting. I wrote a poem to help illustrate the point.
A Perfect Rose
A young seed is complete unto itself. It is a perfect young seed . . . not an incomplete rose waiting to grow.
A tender root is complete unto itself. It is a perfect tender root . . . not an incomplete flower waiting to blossom.
A tiny bud is complete unto itself. It is a perfect tiny bud . . . not an incomplete bloom waiting to sprout.
The Seed takes root by fully living each moment as a grateful seed.
The Root buds, by fully living each moment as a strong, deep root.
The Bud bursts, into bloom by fully living each moment as a passionate bud.
They didn’t miss today waiting for tomorrow . . . lamenting . . .
“Someday . . . when I’m a perfect rose . . . I’ll be happy.”
A rose in full bloom is complete unto itself. It is a perfect seed . . . a perfect tender root . . . a perfect tiny bud . . . a perfect bloom.
A faded flower is complete unto itself. It is a perfect faded flower . . . not an incomplete old rose, waiting for heaven to start again.
The future doesn’t exist and never will. The fullness of life is now.
